Human Beings having Spiritual Experiences

Yup, I always get that saying mixed up. Not that it’s wrong. We do have them. I just find it interesting how, after the fact, I will mine.

I’ll have this mind altering experience and then go “Yeah but was that really (insert religious icon here)?” I guess that’s what the mind has to do to be able to survive the physical reality as a human being.

Or, could it be our egos taking the experience down a few bzillion notches so we can get back to the all important tasks of buying that bigger house, faster car, and nicer wardrobe?
